Feb. 14, 2022 — The Inkandescent Spotlight asks: What’s your love story?

Monday Morning Magic, Feb. 14, 2022: Whether it’s epic, disappointingly forgetful, or downright disastrous, everyone has a love story to tell. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, I’d like to give you a gift: An opportunity to share your love story with our readers for possible inclusion in our new three-part book project: Why Marry? • Why Divorce? • Why Remarry?

As with many audacious goals, we start with the end in mind in the first book in the series, Why Divorce: 5 Reasons to Leave: Inspired by my 25-year marriage to my best friend, which ended in divorce two years ago today, it is the love that lingers. I began this project because I needed to understand my motivation for turning our lives upside down.

The 5 Reasons — Abuse, Addiction, Adultery, Abandonment, Angst: On the website where my team and I collect stories, www.WhyDivorce.us, these categories allow women and men to explain why they left their relationships.

About this project: Like relationships, some stories need to evolve — which is why I‘m not in a rush. My team and I will turn these stories into an Inkandescent™ Book, and in the coming years, we will also publish Why Marry? and Why Remarry? For now, insights gathered are part of www.WhyDivorce.us where we add case studies and expert advice. We will also begin conducting video and podcast interviews to help more people who are thinking about ending a relationship — there is support.
