April 4, 2022 — Kick-off Financial Literacy Month with insights from a dozen truly amazing women who help us make our money grow

Monday Morning Magic, April 4, 2022: “I can promise you that women working together — linked, informed, and educated — can bring peace and prosperity to this forsaken planet,” insists Isabel Allende, the critically-acclaimed Chilean writer whose books such as The House of the Spirits and City of the Beasts pay homage to the lives of incredible women. It’s hard not to adore a woman who understands how to harness personal power in a magical manner.
The same is true of the women who grace the cover of this month’s issue of Inkandescent Women magazine: Featuring Marguerita Cheng, CFP® Pro, we shine the spotlight on the books we have helped her publish. She is surrounded by a dozen of the women she has interviewed on her popular TV and podcast show Margaritas with Marguerita.
Diary of a CFP® Pro: “My greatest joy and passion is touching the lives of others so that they may achieve their financial success,” says Rita, founder and president of Blue Ocean Global Wealth, which helps women gain clarity, confidence, and control over their finances. In her new book, being rolled out on Inkandescent Publishing one chapter at a time throughout 2022, Rita provides a 12-step guide to help women take control of their financial futures.
Wealth Management Rules: Rita’s first book, published in 2014 by the Inkandescent PR + Publishing Co., was Rita’s way of giving back to her clients and women everywhere — especially the underrepresented, underserved, and multicultural families like her own. She has dedicated her life to this mission.
It is an honor to feature a dozen women with a similar path as we celebrate Financial Literacy Month:
- Bonnie Yam teaches us the importance of financial wellness in our Video of the Month
- Esther Diaz is the founder of the Piggy Box, which helps parents teach kids about handling money on MargueritaChengRadio.com
- Cate Luzio tells us what inspired her to create the new firm, “We are Luminary”
- René Nourse shares her insights about “Women and Wealth: The Next New Normal in the US”
- Lili A. Vasileff is the author of the bestseller, “Money & Divorce”

- Felicia Gopaul is the founder of Financial Control Mastery: Prepare for the 5Ds of life
- Julie Pinkerton, CEO of ClientFirst-Evozen, is redefining collaborative communities
We leave you with this powerful parting thought from Rita’s Wealth Management Rules: “The key to financial success is fourfold — know how you are thinking about wealth (you may surprise yourself); know how to understand better what messages you have been sent by your parents, media, and society about wealth (some of this may be keeping you from actually being wealthy); know how the wealth management world works; and, perhaps most importantly, know how to balance love and money.”
Until next Monday: May you feel in control of your financial future and remember to enjoy today while preparing for beautiful surprises that are yet to come! — Hope Katz Gibbs, Inkandescent™ Inc.
